34,000 square meters secured for long-term growth and sustainable development.
Press release dated July 30, 2026

Sales Manager Andreas Domann, Technical Manager Susann Happle, Andreas Heck, Chairman of the Offenburg Area Business Park special-purpose association and Mayor of the municipality of Hohberg, and Tobias Kreutzer, Managing Director of Richter Aluminium GmbH, present the notarized deed of sale in front of the company building.
Richter Aluminium GmbH is setting a clear signal for the future of the company and the region: With the acquisition of approximately 34,000 square meters of land directly adjacent to the existing company premises, the company is investing a multi-million euro sum in the long-term securing and further development of its location in Schutterwald.
With the land acquisition, Richter Aluminium is creating the conditions for future growth. At the same time, the areas are an important component for the construction of planned wind turbines, with which Richter Aluminium aims to further increase the share of self-generated renewable energy and sustainably reduce CO₂ emissions.
“Our express thanks go to the farmers who will continue to cultivate the land until its later use, thereby making an important contribution,” emphasizes Managing Director Tobias Kreutzer.
Special thanks also go to Marco Butz, Head of the Department of Economic and Urban Development, and his entire team for the professional and future-oriented support of the project.
Andreas Heck, Chairman of the Offenburg Area Business Park special-purpose association and Mayor of the municipality of Hohberg, also welcomes the investment:
“The sale of the land to Richter Aluminium is a strong signal for the successful development of our business park and for the economic location of the entire region. With Richter Aluminium, a high-performance and regionally rooted company is investing here, consistently combining economic development and sustainability. With its ‘Road to Net Zero 2030’, the increased use of recycled aluminum, and the clear goal of further reducing CO₂ emissions in production, the company is taking a forward-looking path. I am all the more pleased that Richter Aluminium wants to continue this path with us and invest in its future. This is exactly what we, as a special-purpose association, create the necessary framework for: entrepreneurial perspectives, secure jobs, and sustainable economic development in our region.”
For Richter Aluminium, the land acquisition is, in addition to an investment in real estate, above all a clear commitment to the location, the employees, and the region. Additionally, the company is creating the spatial requirements to consistently pursue its sustainable corporate strategy and implement important future projects at the site.

With the acquisition of the surrounding plots, Richter is investing a multi-million euro sum in the future of the location while simultaneously creating the basis for the construction of planned wind turbines.
